The Colorado Department of Higher Education is the statutory repository for student records after an authorized institution or private occupational school closes.
Obtaining a student transcript from a closed school
The Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) is responsible for the preservation, storage, and management of student records from private colleges/universities that have ceased operating.
CDHE has partnered with Verif-y to fulfill your transcript requests. Please visit Verif-y to learn more about the transcript request process.
Note: Available transcripts are only for colleges/universities that closed after 2012.
To request your transcript from one of the closed four-year private colleges/universities listed below, please submit your request through Verif-y.

While Verif-y is the main transcript fulfillment agency, if you are seeking a transcript from ITT-Technical Institute and attended after 2001, you can request your transcript through this link.

DPOS retrieves student transcripts when a registered school closes. To request a transcript, please complete and submit this Online Student Record Request form to the Division of Private Occupational Schools (DPOS). The DPOS transcript request fee is $20.00 (non-refundable) NOTE: if requesting more than one copy an additional $5.00 fee per copy is required.
