Institutions of Higher Education

CO-Work-Integrated Learning pilot project is partnering with five institutions across rural Colorado to launch this initiative. CDHE is thrilled to be working with institutions serving students who may not otherwise have access to more traditional work-based learning opportunities in order to build capacity in students’ career pathways.  

The five institutions CO-WIL will be launching in the Fall of 2026 include:

• Adams State University  
• Colorado Mountain College  
• Colorado Northwestern Community College  
• Fort Lewis College  
• Lamar Community College 

Each of these five institutions will have five courses available to students where students will be matched to employer projects to gain practical real-world work experience.
