Division of Private Occupational Schools

Application Changes for DPOS

Due to the implementation of our new IT system, DPOS will not be accepting any applications for approval nor instructor notifications (except 2022 Renewal applications) beginning Wednesday, December 1, 2021 until the system launch in early January 2022.  The purpose for this temporary pause in accepting applications is to enable the Division time to migrate data and update school information from the Division’s existing database to the new IT system currently under construction. Prior to system launch, each school will receive instructions on its use.

If you have any applications for approval to submit, the Division encourages you to wait until the system launches to enable electronic processing of the application.  However, if you need Division action prior to then, please submit the paper version well before the December 1, 2021 deadline to allow time for processing.

Surety documents and Continuation Certificates should still be submitted in the usual manner during this time to ensure compliance with Rule IV.E.1.b.
