Colorado Free Transcript Campaign

To help transfer students take part in Colorado Applies Month, several Colorado community colleges are waiving transcript fees in October. Submitting a community college transcript is a key step in transferring to a four-year college or university.

Students can request a free transcript from the following community colleges during the timeframes noted below. Transcript requests made before or after these windows may not be granted a waiver.

Transferring Institutions in Colorado

Colorado Free Application Day is a great opportunity to transfer from community college to a college or university. Colorado public four-year institutions consider the following when making transfer admission decisions:

  • Your combined GPA from all colleges attended after high school graduation
  • Your academic course mix and rigor
  • Your extracurricular activities and other considerations (including internships, work, sports, leadership, etc.)

Check with the institution you are interested in applying to for more specifics regarding their standards and process. Also, be sure to visit the transfer course page for details on course transfer agreements on getting course credit for prior learning!
