Considering the Mutual Adoption of the Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) High School Diploma Endorsement Criteria

Purpose: To convene the Colorado State Board of Education (SBE) and the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) to consider the mutual adoption of the Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) high school diploma endorsement criteria. Per SB08-212, the state is required to establish a set of criteria, which may be used by districts, as an indication that a student has not only taken the necessary steps to graduate from high school but also earned admission to many institutions, and priority consideration to all other institutions of higher education, in Colorado, without the need for remediation.
