  The analysis of higher education data encompasses more than colleges. It serves as an intermediary between K-12 education and workforce readiness. In that window, the student population is varied and diverse. The tools available here are designed to investigate that population. The tools either: 1) visual analysis tools used for browsing data, or 2) results of research that is shared to highlight one aspect of the higher education picture.

Overview: A statistic frequently cited in Colorado (and which shows Colorado as 50th) is the ethnic achievement gap.  This gap refers to the difference in the statewide population between the percentage of whites and the percentage of Colorado’s largest minority (Latinos) age 25-44 with an associate’s degree or higher level of education.   This brief summary details this phenomonon.
