Purpose
The Admission and Transfer Policy Review task force will identify successes and gaps in the current Admission Policy, review high school graduation guidelines, other state admission and transfer policies and make policy revision recommendations to the Colorado Commission on Higher Education that align with Remedial Education policy.
Charge
Consider effect of current policy on student success
- HEAR and index
- Embed Colorado Academic Standards & national consortia assessments
- Align admission and remedial education policies
- Consider rigor of curriculum in high school
- Develop policy for Postsecondary Workforce Readiness Endorsed Diploma
Task Force Goals
- Create a clear policy to all (students, parents, families, counselors)
- Create a transparent policy that aligns with P-12
- Create multiple pathways to success

- Create a data driven and deliberate process
